September 17 → October 21

The Forever Beta begins September 17 and runs through October 21, 2026.

Week 1 cap: level 20

The initial level cap is 20. Blizzard says it will rise to level 30 later in the Beta.

Two Week 1 dungeons

Hall of Thanes is listed for levels 13–18 and Ruins of Lordaeron for levels 15–20.

Server Slam coming later

Blizzard plans a several-hour public Server Slam window later in the test period; timing is still TBD.

Week 1 content

  • Skyborne playable race and Zephras Isle starting zone.
  • Hall of Thanes — Level 13–18.
  • Ruins of Lordaeron — Level 15–20.
  • All zone content up to level 20.

What opens later

Blizzard says additional zones, dungeons and the new battleground will open as testing continues. The level cap will also move from 20 to 30 later in the Beta.

The Server Slam is intended to open the Beta to everyone for several hours, but Blizzard has not yet published the exact date or time.
