Newly confirmed Found Photos quest directions
Starting zones
Existing starting paths gain new NPCs, quests, profession hooks, recipes, and small world moments designed to sit alongside the original Classic experience.
Wetlands
Blizzard says Wetlands will gain new quests and opportunities to continue existing characters and story threads.
Desolace centaur factions
Centaur faction questing receives additional content and faction rewards rather than being left as the original Classic endpoint.
Forsaken Paladin journey
The Forsaken Paladin class story directly continues Warcraft III: Forsaken Kingdom, with Bandarion Keep in the Whispering Wood of Tirisfal Glades as a key anchor. Their class-mount progression begins with a dedicated mount at level 40 and continues through a level-60 epic mount quest that leads to the Forsaken Charger, centered on Retribution.
Blizzard confirmed · Current Beta
September 24 quest changes
Blizzard changed several quest flows and availability states in the current Beta.
- • Khonsu's arrival was removed from the current Beta phase and Blizzard says it will return in the future.
- • Bounty: Gnarlpine Furbolg objective count was reduced to 15 from 20.
- • Exploring the Horde now correctly grants the Lady Sylvanas Windrunner objective.
- • The High Order Skyborne quest Catching Wind was redesigned.
- • Wounds of Betrayal and A Firm Response received quest-credit fixes.
These facts describe the current Beta state, not final launch quest tuning.
Blizzard Beta Development Notes ↗Developer statement · Current Beta
Grouped quest-item drops use hidden progress smoothing
Josh Greenfield explained that Forever keeps quest-item randomness but adds under-the-hood group logic so one party member is less likely to fall far behind everyone else.
- • The underlying quest-item drop chance was not described as increased versus Vanilla or Classic.
- • Grouped players get hidden progress smoothing that reduces large gaps in quest-item progress.
- • Randomness remains; this is not guaranteed loot for every player or a strict turn-by-turn rotation.
- • The mechanic is still being tuned during Beta.
The exact weighting, thresholds, probabilities, and algorithm are not public. Do not describe this as shared quest loot or guaranteed round-robin drops.
Beta-observed quests
These quests have been observed in the current Beta. Treat them as test evidence rather than a launch-final or complete quest database.

- • Data Hoarders
Camping 101 / Professions

- • This is a curated evidence snapshot, not a complete quest database.
Questing philosophy
Forever keeps the full level 1–60 journey relevant rather than treating leveling as a short path to endgame. New stories are designed to sit beside the original experience, emphasizing local conflicts, familiar characters, overlooked places, and exploration.
Forever exists in its own early Year 1 “time bubble,” so these additions do not directly rewrite the Modern WoW timeline. Additional quests and world content are also planned after launch.
What is still missing
Blizzard has not published the complete quest database, objective text, quest IDs, prerequisite chains, exact rewards for most quests, coordinates, or NPC turn-ins. The Forsaken Paladin level-40/60 mount progression is a documented exception; we will wait for reliable Beta or release data before adding the remaining fields.
